Poem : 

The world keeps changing, 

As do I 

Normally I don't notice. 

It is somewhat cyclical like the seasons 

Even the reasons which seem to stay engraved 

They too will slowly change. 

I'd like to be able to say that I will stay the same

Because it has taken me a while to even begin to understand 

Who I am 

But the world keeps changing

As will I 

So before I must say goodbye

I will look to the sky

Trying to memorize every detail every sign 

For soon who I am will be who I was

So when the world keeps turning 

Perhaps I will be able to recognize

These parts of me I left behind
