Maybe you are living in a dream. 

One where you are fast asleep.

Wondering why the night sky does not seem bothered by the concept of time. 

You call to the wise old Owl

How it knows where to make its home. 

And to the gentle deer whose ears are accustomed to run from their fears. 

Does the deer contemplate the owl? 

Does the owl ponder at the night sky? 

Do your eyes wander where reasoning does not lie.

To think or not to think,

Are we asleep ?

And if we are but in a dream

Is it possible to see? 

To know when our eyes have closed. 

How do you know

For when you wake

There is a feeling you cannot mistake. 

Not a moment of doubt crosses your face. 

I have been to this place. 

And now I am Awake.
